Engr. Prof. Okorie Austine Uche is a distinguished Professor of Civil/Structural Engineering at Bayero University, Kano. Born on August 1, 1965, in Amuda – Isuochi, Abia State, Nigeria, he pursued his early education at Development Primary School Owerri and secondary education at Isuochi Secondary School and Emmanuel College Owerri.
He graduated with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural Engineering from the College of Technology Owerri in 1988, earning the distinction as the best student and joint valedictorian. After completing his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 1989, he briefly worked at Champion Newspapers Ltd in Lagos before moving to Kano in 1991.
He earned a Civil Engineering degree with upper second-class honors from Bayero University in 1994, again as the best graduating student.
Driven by a passion for excellence, he obtained an MSc in Civil Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria in 2000 and a PhD in the same field from ABU in 2008.
Joining Bayero University as an Assistant Lecturer in 2001, he rose through the ranks to become a professor, contributing significantly to engineering education and administration. He has trained over 1,000 undergraduate and 300 postgraduate students, supervised numerous degrees, and authored over 90 scholarly publications, including the book The Fundamentals of Engineer in His Society (2010).
Prof. Uche is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (FNICE), a COREN-registered engineer, and a member of various professional bodies like the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
He has held leadership roles, including Chairman of NSE Kano and Kabuga Branches, and served on COREN Council committees since 2014.
A devout Methodist, he is a Worthy Knight of John Wesley (KJW) and has served as a Diocesan Technical Adviser and Lay President of Methodist Church Nigeria, Kano Diocese. He is married to Lady Ngozi Uche, and they have four children: Chukwunweizu, Amarachukwu, Tochukwu, and Chimeremeze.

Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, from Abia State, Nigeria, is a renowned peace-builder, community mobilizer, and program strategist. He has collaborated with organizations like the United Nations, World Bank, Global Fund, USAID, and others to implement peace campaigns and health programs.
Known for fostering international relationships, he has traveled globally as a resource person on peace-building and religious tolerance, earning accolades such as the Global Peace Award (Malaysia, 2013) and the NRB Media Award for International Individual Achievement (2016).
He completed his primary and university education in Nigeria, followed by master’s and doctorate degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Bishop Onuoha has held significant roles, including member of the World Methodist Evangelism Institute Committee (Emory University), council member of Abia State University, Pro-Chancellor of Eastern Palm University, and member of Nigeria’s Presidential Taskforce on Polio Eradication.
He is the founder and president of Vision Africa and Vision Africa Radio, attracting global resources to Nigeria, and the first Executive Director of NIFAA, mobilizing faith leaders to combat disease, poverty, and violence. He also co-chaired IDFP, promoting religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.
Bishop Onuoha is married to Rev. Ugonna Onuoha, and they have three children: Agnes, Jane, and Isaac.

He leads the Quad organizations LIVEN Capital Investments Ltd, Vision 1960 Rebirth Ltd, ALUSIUWA Global Financial Services, African Renaissance Order and the Royal House of AjaAni.
His enterprise activities are adapted to the needs of modern Africa that is functional for the new generation and viable in the face of ever evolving global technologies, government policies and social dynamics.
He brings to Mary Mbagu Foundation, a human heart, access to wide ranging knowledge and the strategies for successful deployment of human centered initiatives.
She is a Senior Lecturer / Honourary Consultant Radiologist. She has a Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology (from the West African College of Surgeons) and has MSc in Oncology imaging from University of Pisa, Italy. Dr Nnamani is also a trained breast/ interventional radiologist.
Her academic and research interests are in the fields of women’s imaging, oncology, Pyscho-oncology and medical informatics among others with multiple publications in these areas. She is a member of a Multidisciplinary oncology team of the University of Nigeria teaching Hospital and and clinical trial consortium of University of Nigeria.
She is the President for the Breast imaging society of Nigeria (BISON) and has participated in many community-based cancer screening projects in South-East Nigeria with ‘Breast Without Spot Initiative’ (BWS Initiative), BISON and Medical Women Association of Nigeria ( MWAN).
Her work among women makes her a veritable tool in Mary Mbargu Foundation for the enhancement of the welfare of challenged women in the society.
